Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the Android platform.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain code quality.
- Show leadership and focus on completing projects.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with offline storage databases, threading, and networking.
- Proficiency with Android Studio tools for performance measurement and memory management.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud messaging APIs, and push notifications.
- Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficiency with version-control tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Experience writing Android Studio test cases.
- Strong logical reasoning and data-structure skills.
- Experience with current Android technologies, including RxJava and Kotlin.
