Responsibilities
- Integrate security platforms and tooling to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering and IAM teams to implement Zero Trust architecture.
- Empower product teams to deliver secure systems through a collaborative security culture.
- Provide guidance on identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.
- Define and evolve security best practices and assist teams in applying them.
Requirements
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Go.
- Knowledge of AWS/GCP security best practices.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes security best practices.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Experience managing web application firewalls such as Cloudflare.
- Awareness of common software security flaws and web application security best practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps principles and security considerations.
- An inquisitive approach and confidence in problem-solving.
