Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor engineers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create integrated solutions.
- Improve engineering processes, including long-term planning and sprint management.
- Build services that meet high standards for availability and latency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Backend service experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Passion for software engineering and staying updated on open-source technologies.
