Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new backend applications.
- Test and improve existing backend infrastructure applications.
- Collaborate with architects, functional designers, and other specialists on system and application design.
- Migrate workloads into the new private cloud environment and support the platform in production.
- Contribute technical input to scope estimation, pre-sales documents, and client improvement proposals.
- Build client relationships and progressively take ownership of technical decisions, solution direction, and engineering mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience with Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the software delivery lifecycle, including GitLab.
- Experience with Robot Framework and Pytest.
- Experience with containers and Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of firewalls, reverse proxies, forward proxies, and IPv4 and IPv6 networking.
- Ability to work with underdefined scopes, assess business goals, make recommendations, and support client relationships.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, OpenStack, and highly automated public cloud solutions.
- Preferred experience in dedicated-team or T&M models, managerial or technical leadership roles, and pre-sales engineering or pre-sales activities.
