Responsibilities
- Embed with customer engineering teams to understand business processes, technical architectures, requirements, and operational constraints.
- Design and build production-grade AI applications, including retrieval pipelines, workflow automation, API orchestration layers, and data integrations.
- Integrate foundation models, customer data sources, and existing applications into reliable, low-latency, cost-efficient AI experiences.
- Own software delivery from scoping and design through coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and maintenance.
- Implement monitoring, evaluations, guardrails, and operational improvements for AI systems.
- Mentor and train new team members and provide meaningful code review feedback.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer AI adoption and create reusable patterns and accelerators for future deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with agentic and spec-driven development; experience developing AI agents is a plus.
- Experience with AI tools, evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred experience working in customer production environments and deploying AI/ML applications in production.
- Preferred background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with high ownership and urgency.
- Preferred experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Go.
- Preferred experience interfacing with customers, leading technical projects with external stakeholders, and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Preferred experience with AWS services.
