Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, customers, and teammates to understand challenges and design effective solutions.
- Measure and use data to guide decisions, analyze existing systems, and identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Design, test, code, instrument, and deliver new software solutions.
- Build and maintain web applications, APIs, data services, and cloud-native applications.
- Support live applications through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Apply testing, security, architectural, and engineering process best practices.
- Mentor peers, share knowledge, develop subject-matter expertise, and work independently with ownership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with Angular and/or React and experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and test suites.
- Strong understanding of software security principles and OWASP guidelines.
- Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and delivering complex projects on schedule.
- Experience writing performant stored procedures and functions and developing cloud-native applications and services.
- Experience with C#, Docker, modern relational databases, ASP.NET RESTful API design, Kafka or event-driven design, and modern web UI frameworks.
- Ability and willingness to learn or work with Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, and Azure.
