C++ Engineer, File
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and review C++ features for FlashArray File across protocols, reliability, and customer-facing capabilities.
- Build system software serving SMB and NFS workloads and evolve the file gateway and adjacent services.
- Improve quality, scalability, performance, and resiliency for highly concurrent storage workloads.
- Own work from initial design through delivery, debugging, and long-term maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners in Prague and other locations.
Requirements
- Strong C++ software engineering skills and experience building backend, systems, or infrastructure software.
- Interest in solving complex technical problems in storage and file-serving systems.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to design reliable, high-quality software in performance-sensitive environments.
- Ability to own work across the full software lifecycle, from design through delivery, debugging, and maintenance.
- Collaborative working style, strong communication, and willingness to work with a distributed engineering team.
- Experience with distributed systems, operating systems, Linux internals, databases, networking, or file and storage systems is a strong plus.
