Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems.
- Integrate containerized edge services into the FlashArray platform.
- Own and deliver software features end-to-end from concept through production.
- Analyze requirements, performance, reliability, risks, and complex technical challenges.
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux services, processes, permissions, networking, and storage systems.
- Collaborate with teammates to improve systems and deliver reliable, easy-to-use customer solutions.
Requirements
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on Linux systems experience, including service lifecycle management, user and permission administration, process behavior, and basic networking or storage troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OCI-aligned container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Experience with backend systems designed for high load and availability.
- Experience with automated testing and practices that support code quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze system requirements, performance, reliability, and risk considerations.
