Responsibilities
- Own software delivery tasks spanning design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders on prioritization, estimates, trade-offs, demos, and acceptance discussions.
- Drive service integration, understand end-to-end architecture and dependencies, and improve operational and engineering experience metrics.
- Promote technology standards and frameworks, review coding and automation work, and mentor junior team members.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated validation frameworks.
- Review test architecture and automation code, and provide quality recommendations during design and architecture reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with exposure to the entire SDLC.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, or Postman.
- Understanding of dbt testing for data quality, reliability, and accuracy across data engineering pipelines.
- Strong SQL, data analysis, and data validation experience.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
