Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, deliver, and support software solutions.
- Define requirements and develop or customize applications.
- Drive automation initiatives and define the team’s automation strategy.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and API automation.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
- Own critical initiatives, participate in code reviews, proofs of concept, and technical evaluations, and mentor engineers.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production support.
- Continuously improve quality, efficiency, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and web services.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and API automation.
- Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and strategies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and software development life cycle practices.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to take ownership, drive initiatives independently, and deliver results.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, initiative, self-motivation, and continuous learning skills.
- Experience with production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, microservices architecture, cloud-native application development, performance and security testing, and payments, benefits, or FinTech experience are highly desirable.
