Responsibilities
- Validate and test multiple SAS Viya 3.5 services and products.
- Analyze and resolve customer-reported issues with developers, technical support, and product managers.
- Run security scans and analyze failures.
- Install and configure testing environments, infrastructure, and continuous deployment infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage testing.
- Identify risks, issues, and defects and manage them through closure.
- Debug complex software systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in software testing across a product-based software development environment.
- Strong functional testing and code debugging skills.
- Expertise in test automation using Java and Selenium or Playwright with web/REST services.
- Working experience with Linux and knowledge of SQL.
- Desirable knowledge of database administration with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Gradle or Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of security scans and tools such as Sync and ZAP.
- Desirable experience with Java, Shell Script, or Python for deployment automation.
- Desirable knowledge of performance testing concepts.
- Desirable systems knowledge covering authorization, storage, and networking.
