Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end quality engineering function with a focus on test automation, control, accuracy, and integrity.
- Develop, script, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and WebdriverIO.
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional testing activities.
- Report on testing progress and strategy, providing insights for management decision-making.
- Use AI tools to design, generate, and optimize automation test scripts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 6 years of experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript is stated as an additional requirement.
- Proficiency in Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript is required.
- Experience with WebdriverIO, performance testing, CI/CD tooling, BDD frameworks, and issue management systems.
- Knowledge of k6 or equivalent tools for performance, load, stress, and endurance testing.
- Experience with GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins, Cucumber, and JMeter or similar tools.
- Knowledge of investment banking, FIX Protocol, VeriFix, financial markets, trading platforms, and trade life cycles is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and experience with serverless architecture and microservices are preferred.
- Experience using KIRO, Amazon Q, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent AI tools is preferred.
- Relevant testing qualifications such as ISTQB or Agile Software Testing courses are desired.
- Understanding of Agile, SAFe engineering environments, SDLC, TDD, and BDD is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, delivery, prioritization, and analytical skills are required.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
