Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the core infrastructure for the Federal Data Platform using Python, Go, and AWS.
- Partner with data engineers to design and implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance software delivery processes by improving pipeline automation and configuration management.
- Investigate and remediate operational findings in regulated environments.
- Manage the vulnerability lifecycle for the platform, including scanning and remediation.
- Ensure compliance with federal standards such as FedRAMP and STIGs.
- Implement application monitoring and automated security checks in code repositories.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automating and deploying large-scale production services in AWS.
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitLab.
- Experience in AWS network engineering and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
- Experience with system hardening and vulnerability management tools.
- A proven record of designing and building automated systems for software delivery.
- Ability to access federal environments as a U.S. Person.
