Base Salary
$142k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise, platform, and solution architecture strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design reviews, and governance for major initiatives.
- Design end-to-end solutions, architecture diagrams, integration models, data flows, and system designs for complex challenges.
- Drive modernization, cloud adoption, platform evolution, scalability improvements, AI integration, and technical debt reduction.
- Promote software development, cloud architecture, observability, resiliency, automation, and reusable architectural standards.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations leadership to align technology investments and execution.
- Mentor senior engineers, technical leads, and architects while strengthening architectural capabilities across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in architecture, principal engineering, or equivalent senior technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and data architecture.
- Experience designing highly scalable, mission-critical software platforms.
- Strong understanding of security, reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams without direct authority.
- Preferred: experience modernizing legacy platforms into cloud-native architectures and supporting enterprise-scale SaaS platforms.
- Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud technologies and familiarity with AI/ML platforms, agentic systems, and modern engineering productivity tools.
- Preferred: architecture certifications or advanced technical credentials.
