Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance distributed control plane services in Go.
- Lead complex technical workstreams from design through release.
- Develop scalable microservice interfaces using gRPC and REST.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
- Resolve distributed-systems edge cases and operational bottlenecks.
- Improve build pipelines, service boundaries, architecture, and operational workflows.
- Participate in on-call support and system monitoring to troubleshoot production incidents.
Requirements
- Experience with Go, microservices architecture, and distributed control plane systems or low-latency infrastructure APIs.
- Experience with containerization, virtualization, or cloud-native infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes or Firecracker.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency patterns, and network performance tuning in Linux environments.
- Ability to lead complex projects, break problems into deliverable features, and mentor engineers.
- Growth mindset, willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and focus on maintainable systems and code.
