Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions, modules, and functionality for cloud-based and internet-related tools.
- Write, test, refactor, debug, review, and maintain code across large-scale distributed systems.
- Design and develop microservices, APIs, and functionality using telemetry data and structured and unstructured data.
- Execute automated testing and contribute to software deployment through cloud-based infrastructure and delivery tooling.
- Prototype multi-vendor infrastructure solutions and demonstrate them internally or to clients.
- Integrate third-party software through automation and coding.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to deliver software components.
- Maintain technical programs, end-user documentation, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced software development experience, including microservices, RESTful APIs, large data sets, and ML/AI algorithms.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js, along with relevant libraries and frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture, public cloud services, microservices architecture, APIs, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra, Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD.
- Advanced experience with full software delivery lifecycle tools, distributed systems, geo-distributed teams, and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, analytics, data-driven processes, and automated testing.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and relevant agile certifications are preferred.
