Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of solutions using AB Suite and enterprise technologies.
- Define end-to-end application architectures aligned with business strategy and technology roadmaps.
- Gather and refine requirements with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams.
- Produce high- and low-level solution designs, technical specifications, and architecture documentation.
- Lead legacy modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Conduct solution reviews and provide architecture governance and technical assurance.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership.
- Support project estimation, planning, risk assessment, and technology decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide responses to critical incidents.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, resilience, security, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Extensive AB Suite experience, ideally 10–15 years in architecture, design, or senior development roles.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
- End-to-end delivery experience spanning roadmaps, requirements, development, implementation, and operations.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture principles, design patterns, system integration, APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
- Experience with architecture reviews, solution governance, and technical assurance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and technical leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
- UK IT financial-services experience is desirable.
- Unisys ClearPath MCP environment experience is desirable.
- TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent architecture certification is desirable.
- Experience in highly regulated or mission-critical environments is desirable.
