Responsibilities
- Guide the technical direction and implementation of large-scale product features.
- Evaluate trade-offs involving correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to influence product strategy and direction.
- Ship well-tested, secure, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Fix bugs and production issues and contribute to complex bug fixes with security, performance, and reliability in mind.
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation.
- Mentor and develop teammates, including junior team members.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience working as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Specialization in JavaScript ES6, HTML5, and CSS, with experience using modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
- Familiarity with server-side software development, software design, and object-oriented programming, preferably with Java and Node.js.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, and Chai.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and front-end architecture and data-driven development.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience with SQL and basic data and numerical analysis.
- Ability to work with designers to develop dynamic user experiences.
- Willingness to support the full engineering stack on a complex system.
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
