Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and advance the product’s intelligence layer, focusing on computer vision and machine learning systems rather than application-layer development.
- Apply computer vision models, LLMs, and AI systems to construction workflows involving blueprint understanding and cost estimation.
- Rapidly prototype, ship, and improve AI products based on direct user feedback.
- Coordinate and compose multiple machine learning models into coherent, production-ready pipelines.
- Perform hands-on foundational work required to build an early-stage product.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and shipping AI systems to production, including 0-to-1 product development.
- Strong applied machine learning experience, including machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision; object detection experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and comfort working across the machine learning stack.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, repetitive foundational work, and rapid iteration.
- Strong communication characterized by empathy, honesty, and proactive reporting of what is and is not working.
- US citizenship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
