Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software for the reliable and scalable operation of Cribl Stream.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate product requirements into technical designs.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust code that delivers customer value.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools for development, debugging, and operational efficiency.
- Create automated tests and test plans to ensure product quality.
- Contribute to engineering best practices and operational excellence.
- Identify and implement improvements in performance and scalability.
- Maintain and support SaaS offerings, participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Must comply with U.S. government security requirements for FedRAMP-authorized systems.
- BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or MS with relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on software development experience in production systems.
- Experience building enterprise software in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience designing and consuming production APIs such as REST or RPC services.
- Experience with production on-call rotations and incident response.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript test frameworks.
- Knowledge of data streaming, telemetry, logs, metrics, or observability systems.
- Strong coding experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience in startup or fast-paced environments using agile practices.
