Responsibilities
- Understand and challenge business requirements when needed.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, software design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance, and production launch activities.
- Build Java-based applications using architectural principles for high-volume, low-latency, and high-availability systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the development process.
- Provide Level 3 support for live applications.
Requirements
- Experience in backend development using Java and Spring Framework.
- Strong understanding of Java concepts.
- Experience developing RESTful web service producers and consumers with Spring and web services security.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
- Knowledge of design patterns including MVC, DAO, Singleton, Factory, and Builder.
- At least two years of experience with Spring Data JDBC or an equivalent using Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, microservice architecture, and Agile environments.
- Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Docker and OpenShift environments.
- AWS experience is a plus.
