Responsibilities
- Own customer issues involving Ethernet or InfiniBand network adapters, DPUs, and switches from inception through resolution.
- Help enterprise customers and internal users improve the availability, reliability, and overall experience of NVIDIA Networking products.
- Analyze and resolve complex cross-functional technical issues while improving customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to document, recreate, and solve product issues.
- Provide solutions for complex installations, maintenance, and operations involving datacenter and networking technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of system development and troubleshooting experience, ideally including customer-facing work.
- Experience developing or debugging with C in kernel, application, or embedded software environments.
- Strong understanding of Linux tools, utilities, the kernel, networking stack, and virtualization.
- Professional-level communication and interpersonal skills, analytical ability, self-motivation, flexibility, and a collaborative attitude.
- Familiarity with InfiniBand networks, RDMA, RoCE, DPUs, DPDK, HPC applications such as MPI and UCX, and OVS is preferred.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with datacenter networking protocols and technologies including LACP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN is preferred.
- Ability to analyze IP, Layer 2 switching, and Layer 3 routing protocols is preferred.
- Contributions to networking-related open-source projects are preferred.
