Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable software across the stack.
- Develop distributed systems and data-driven features supporting carrier and customer experiences.
- Collaborate with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code and improve architecture through code reviews and refactoring.
- Contribute to technical strategy and long-term system scalability and health.
- Mentor and collaborate with peers to improve engineering standards and culture.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience; candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience delivering high-quality applications and features to production.
- Experience designing and building distributed architectures, ideally in AWS.
- Strong understanding of scalability, loose coupling, and separation of concerns.
- Practical experience using Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to improve development workflows.
- Experience with relational and document-oriented databases, including performance tuning and scaling.
- Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as React.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern code management practices.
- Knowledge of clean code, design patterns, and continuous improvement practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
