Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a centralized AI algorithm platform that supports high concurrency, multiple users, stability, and scalability.
- Create reusable and modular machine learning and generative AI components for banking applications.
- Package AI and machine learning models into standard APIs or executable toolkits for use by other systems.
- Support downstream banking applications including document processing, recommendation systems, voice intelligence, time-series forecasting, and chatbots.
- Develop standardized tools and automated workflows to reduce the maintenance effort required for AI projects.
- Follow data confidentiality, database access, operational, compliance, training, and headquarters policy requirements.
- Prepare model risk assessment documentation and support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
- Coordinate with headquarters colleagues to complete assigned work on time and to required quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Zero to three or more years of relevant work experience; new graduates must demonstrate strong programming skills.
- Experience developing AI/ML projects with Python or a strong software engineering/full-stack development background.
- Proficiency with Python and mainstream backend frameworks, with familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Svelte.
- Practical experience developing applications with large language models, prompt optimization, and retrieval-augmented generation systems.
- Proficiency with OpenAI API, Hugging Face, Transformers, and LangChain.
- Proficiency with SQL database operations and familiarity with Spark or other big data processing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and fluent spoken and written Chinese and English for collaboration with overseas teams.
