Base Salary

$128k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and iterate AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines on Axon’s platform.
  • Configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in agency environments.
  • Own deployment, adoption, optimization, production success, and customer outcome metrics end to end.
  • Build AI-powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations for defined agency problems.
  • Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
  • Assess operational workflows, define success metrics and baselines, and lead mission reviews, QBRs, and strategic planning.
  • Build relationships with agency leadership, command staff, and operational stakeholders.
  • Capture customer insights and reusable implementation patterns to influence product roadmaps and create playbooks.
  • Identify expansion opportunities based on demonstrated impact and partner with Sales on account strategy.
  • Maintain an onsite presence approximately 3–4 days per week and support post-sales onboarding and handoff.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Proven experience shipping production-ready automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
  • Ability to configure products, write integration logic, and own hands-on builds rather than only coordinate delivery.
  • Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.
  • Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale is preferred.
