Responsibilities
- Design and implement software for Arista’s software-defined networking infrastructure and EOS network operating system.
- Develop distributed systems using state-oriented, publish-subscribe communication and shared system databases.
- Build and maintain software supporting physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers across switches and routers.
- Contribute to network testing, reliability, automation workflows, and software architecture.
Requirements
- Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
- Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
- Fluency in C or C++.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing software in a strong product-engineering environment.
