Responsibilities
- Build and support a platform and its tenants.
- Maintain data analytics platform components.
- Develop architecture and run platform experiments.
- Prepare cloud-ready, infrastructure-as-code-based solutions.
- Manage platform monitoring and alerting.
- Help users through on-call support.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience or knowledge with GCP.
- Experience building data platforms on GCP using managed services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, and Dataproc.
- Experience building infrastructure automation services using Golang.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
- Experience with deployment and provisioning tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions and elaborate complex ideas in design documentation.
- Knowledge of secure authentication and encrypted workloads, including OIDC, KMS, and client/server SSL/TLS, is advantageous.
- Open-source contribution experience is advantageous.
