Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CEMS web service APIs for existing and future interfaces.
- Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
- Analyze database code and processes, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement tuning improvements.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, data teams, and DBAs to translate requirements into database solutions.
- Implement relational database structure changes, schema modifications, updates, and integration capabilities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and perform root cause analysis for PL/SQL components and database issues.
- Prepare deployment scripts, validate execution results, and support transitions between environments.
- Document database structures, stored procedures, data flows, and development standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance on PL/SQL and database development standards.
- Assist with data migration, ETL processes, and integrations between internal and external systems.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage strategies.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Clearance are required.
- At least 2 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL is required.
- Experience with Oracle database replication is required.
- Knowledge of AWS and/or OCI-related technologies and utilities is required.
- A BA/BS is preferred and may be replaced by additional experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are preferred.
- Agile environment experience and DevSecOps experience are preferred.
- Experience with AWS Cloud One or AWS Gov Cloud is preferred.
