Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of developer platform capabilities for AWS networking, EC2, and storage.
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform infrastructure-as-code modules, state and backend configurations, CI/CD integrations, and environment promotion workflows.
- Develop Python-based platform automation, provisioning workflows, validations, and AWS API integrations.
- Implement secure-by-default patterns including least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, encryption and KMS, and secure storage configurations.
- Review code, debug complex issues, and improve platform reliability through automation and standardization.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams on reusable platform patterns.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with technical leadership involving design ownership, mentoring, and delivery accountability.
- Required deep hands-on AWS expertise in networking, compute, and storage.
- Required enterprise-scale Terraform module development and operations experience.
- Required Python expertise for platform automation and services.
- Strong experience with SDLC, CI/CD, security, resiliency, and operational stability in production environments.
- Preferred experience with Terraform module versioning, testing and validation, documentation, and long-term maintenance.
- Preferred experience delivering shared platforms or foundational services in large-scale enterprise environments.
