Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex enterprise-grade web and mobile applications using Appian low-code tools.
- Build process models, record actions, rules, expressions, SAIL interfaces, custom plug-ins, and other Appian solutions.
- Optimize development processes and automate Parking Ticket Life Cycle management.
- Design scalable, reliable, secure, integrated applications aligned with DOF’s low-code product strategy.
- Engineer product reliability and troubleshoot incidents using tracing, alerting, and log analysis.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Build automation to prevent recurring problems and promote quality-first development.
- Cross-train software developers, share best practices, and perform application and code reviews.
- Test and debug front-end applications for cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, accessibility, and performance.
- Integrate Appian applications with external enterprise systems and databases using REST and SOAP APIs.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the position, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience developing feature-rich internal and public-facing applications with the Appian platform.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, full-stack development, and low-code application development.
- Ability to design and develop integrated applications that are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Experience with application testing, debugging, reliability engineering, incident investigation, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating applications with external systems and databases through REST and SOAP APIs.
- Ability to contribute to architecture, documentation, code reviews, developer mentoring, and technical best-practice adoption.
- Knowledge of current and future Web Content Accessibility Guidelines standards.
