Base Salary
$135k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on adopting Mendix cloud and hybrid hosting solutions based on cost, performance, and security requirements.
- Install, configure, operate, supervise, and troubleshoot Mendix platform deployments in Kubernetes environments across public, private, and customer-premises infrastructure.
- Support customers in implementing and optimizing Mendix deployments within existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Define, explain, implement, and troubleshoot highly automated hosting infrastructure.
- Automate cloud infrastructure and deployments, including experimentation with AI-driven infrastructure approaches.
- Travel routinely to client sites.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience, ideally including 2 or more years with modern cloud infrastructures.
- Practical experience architecting, building, and operating highly automated, containerized cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of microservices architectures and Kubernetes-based deployments on AWS, Azure, Rancher, and OpenShift environments.
- Database administration experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle, plus cloud databases, data lakes, authentication, and enterprise networking.
- Experience implementing and integrating CI/CD tooling such as Git, SVN, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong customer engagement, communication, problem-solving, analytical, self-starting, and professional skills.
- Relevant cloud architecture, infrastructure, AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications are preferred.
- A BA/BS or master's degree in Computer Science or a technical equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with low-code platforms such as Pega, OutSystems, and ServiceNow, AI platforms such as n8n, graph databases, vectorization techniques, or governmental security clearances is a bonus.
