Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of the cloud platform across AWS and GCP.
- Build and standardize platform capabilities to reduce cognitive load and accelerate developer productivity.
- Develop and operate shared data platform services for scalable and reliable data capabilities.
- Partner with product engineering, security, and SRE teams to drive adoption of platform best practices.
- Mentor other engineers and drive cloud cost optimization through automation.
Requirements
- Production experience managing infrastructure on a major cloud platform (AWS or GCP).
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and service mesh technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and software development in Golang.
- Experience managing infrastructure for stateful applications on cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
