Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver major end-to-end features in ingestion control-plane services.
- Drive multi-quarter technical initiatives across the ingest surface.
- Partner with architects and PMs to shape scalable designs across cloud providers.
- Write and review design docs, setting technical direction and ensuring code quality.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers to improve design and review quality.
- Engage with enterprise customers to troubleshoot production issues and gather feedback.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building production systems software with high-impact projects.
- Expert proficiency in C++ or Java, with a preference for both languages.
- Deep understanding of query execution engines, ingestion pipelines, or distributed data systems.
- Demonstrated cross-team design leadership and architectural judgment.
- Strong written communication skills for driving consensus across teams.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
