Base Salary

$161k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Research and evaluate transformer-based architectures, large foundational models, and other emerging ML technologies.
Develop and productionize scalable recommendation, ranking, personalization, classical tabular-data, and sequential-data ML models.
Design reinforcement learning algorithms and multi-armed bandit strategies for dynamic decision-making.
Design, conduct, monitor, and analyze A/B tests using rigorous statistical methods.
Analyze experimental data and generate actionable insights for product and business decisions.
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and marketing teams to integrate ML models into products.
Build reusable machine learning libraries, support their use, and maintain documentation for libraries, models, experiments, and findings.
Guide complex initiatives, contribute to strategic decisions, present results to stakeholders, and mentor team members.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus three years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus one year of such experience.
Experience productionizing ML models focused on recommendations, ranking, or personalization.
Experience developing models with classical ML techniques for tabular data and modern ML techniques for sequential data.
Hands-on experience with large, distributed, high-scale ML application architectures.
Experience producing business outcomes through comprehensive A/B testing and rigorous statistical analysis.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, XGBoost, and PyTorch or TensorFlow for production-ready projects.
Experience with Spark, Kafka, or Kubernetes.
Successful completion of a background check is required.
