Responsibilities
- Partner with business, product, technology, and Enterprise Architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Develop end-to-end architectures across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Create technology roadmaps and target-state architectures aligned with business strategy and modernization objectives.
- Guide delivery teams through architectural decisions and assess solution quality, scalability, security, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms, vendors, risks, dependencies, and architectural gaps, developing mitigation strategies.
- Support cloud adoption, application modernization, migration, and legacy system transformation initiatives.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to developers, analysts, and engineering teams.
- Present recommendations and trade-offs to technical stakeholders, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Participate in architecture governance, architecture reviews, design reviews, and technology assessments.
- Foster alignment across delivery teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related architecture roles in large enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of progressive technology experience across application development, integration, cloud technologies, data platforms, or enterprise systems.
- Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions across multiple technology domains.
- Strong understanding of AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with API-first integrations, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Experience with modern and legacy technology platforms in a modernization environment.
- Understanding of application, integration, security, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture with practical delivery considerations and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Preferred experience in insurance, financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries.
- Preferred experience with customer-facing digital platforms, enterprise integration patterns, messaging, microservices, modernization, migration, legacy decommissioning, data architecture, data governance, analytics platforms, proof-of-concepts, vendor assessments, outsourced development teams, security, identity, authentication, authorization, capability maps, and technology roadmaps.
