Base Salary
$92k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design test strategies, test plans, and test cases from requirements, design documents, and specifications.
- Automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver.
- Estimate testing effort, track progress, author and review test cases, and execute functional, smoke, regression, and integration tests.
- Report, track, validate, and close defects and record and report test results.
- Participate in system design sessions, risk-management assessments, software and hardware development, and test-tool selection.
- Gather testing metrics, apply quantitative project-management concepts, and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers, User Services, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development, release management, operations management, or a related field.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Git or similar software, API and endpoint testing, continuous integration pipelines, test planning, test-case development, and test-management tools.
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile-Scrum development methodology.
- Ability to participate in cross-functional system-integration planning and execution and collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include automated and manual testing experience, big-data application experience, technical degrees or certifications, Elasticsearch, Kibana backend testing, SAFe certification, and familiarity with the GitFlow development model.
