Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or Terragrunt.
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure workflows.
- Own production reliability through observability, SLI/SLO definition, and incident response leadership.
- Champion GitOps workflows across infrastructure deployments.
- Build compliance-ready infrastructure supporting SOC 2 and GDPR requirements, including IAM and secrets management.
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability at scale.
- Create developer tooling and documentation to improve engineering workflows.
- Mentor team members and help shape infrastructure strategy.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
- Expert-level, production-active Kubernetes experience, with EKS strongly preferred within the last 12 months.
- Experience building and managing AWS infrastructure for B2B SaaS products.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and/or Terragrunt.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines end to end.
- Broad experience across compute, networking, storage, and observability.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Prometheus, ELK, and Datadog.
- Background working at VC-backed startups or mid-sized companies rather than exclusively large enterprises.
- Candidates must be independently authorized to work because visa sponsorship is unavailable.
