Base Salary

$200k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

Scope product needs with customers and own product modules from discovery through launch and iteration.
Design versioned APIs, typed data models, backend services, user interfaces, and third-party integrations.
Build AI-driven workflows across web applications, conversational interfaces, and MCP-compatible agent services.
Move pricing and business logic into backend services for accurate and dependable financial calculations.
Establish testing, observability, deployment, and performance practices for production systems.
Lead technical discussions, mentor teammates, and investigate production issues through root-cause analysis.

At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including startup experience and staff-level ownership of product areas.
Strong production backend experience with Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB or a comparable stack.
Practical React and TypeScript experience, including independently shipping polished user interfaces.
Experience taking ambiguous customer problems from scoping through delivery and designing versioned APIs and data models.
Experience integrating AI features or agent-driven workflows; MCP-like tooling experience is a plus.
Familiarity with B2B SaaS monetization, including pricing, packaging, quoting, billing, or CPQ.
Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
