Base Salary
$155k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build resilient systems for real-time data movement, processing, and storage.
- Scale data infrastructure to support the company’s growth.
- Enable seamless, governed access to high-quality and trustworthy data.
- Drive data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across the company.
- Establish infrastructure best practices balancing performance, flexibility, and governance at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in data infrastructure.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or Java.
- Expertise with cloud data lakes such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Experience with streaming and big data processing frameworks such as Kafka or Spark.
- Experience with workflow orchestration systems such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Experience implementing CDC solutions such as Debezium or Maxwell.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Nice-to-have exposure to data governance, PII handling, policy-driven access control, RBAC at scale, SQL-level data masking, policy compiler systems, or data lineage systems.
