Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams on software architecture, design practices, best practices, and technology choices.
- Oversee complex projects and ensure successful delivery from concept through production.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and foster continuous learning.
- Set technical direction, make high-stakes decisions, and lead architectural design.
- Collaborate with product management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business and product goals.
- Lead product delivery as a product owner and drive the product vision with engineering teams.
- Drive innovation, R&D, and AI modernization initiatives, including the use of LLMs and automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain SaaS applications using cloud, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of .NET full-stack development experience.
- Minimum six years of software development or engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in .NET and multiple programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, principles, and engineering best practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems and data architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and set technical direction.
- Experience leading complex, large-scale projects and demonstrating technical leadership and architectural design skills.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, engineering toolchains, and AI modernization.
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to balance short- and long-term product goals and work effectively across varying levels of abstraction.
