Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated regression testing for FortiClient and create, maintain, and execute test specifications and test cases.
- Write and maintain automation scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work with developers to ensure they are fixed correctly.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and other teams to understand features, use cases, and customer scenarios.
- Document and publish release notes, user guides, reference materials, and use case scenarios for new product releases.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software testing or software development experience.
- Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
- Strong knowledge of IPSec, SSL VPN, data encryption, and authentication.
- Knowledge of QA procedures, methodologies, and software development fundamentals.
- Programming or scripting experience, such as Python or Perl.
- Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting PC/server software and hardware in Windows and Unix environments.
- Ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software and produce clear, reproducible problem reports and test results.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate across departments, and work under tight time constraints.
- Knowledge of databases is an asset; knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud products, or AI is also an asset.
