Base Salary
$105k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain LLM agent pipelines, MCP integrations, and retrieval-augmented generation systems using Python, FastAPI, LangChain, TypeScript, and React.
- Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools for code generation, debugging, and iteration as a primary daily workflow.
- Optimize existing AI-powered software applications and collaborate through code reviews.
- Perform root-cause analysis, solve software issues, and translate loosely defined requirements into production-ready code.
- Assist with user stories and project estimation, suggest system architecture improvements, and ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Document software usage, implementation, architecture, design, and APIs.
- Write broad unit and integration tests consistently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of production software development experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with LLM, agentic, or AI/ML systems in a production or near-production environment.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude Code, as a daily engineering practice.
- Production proficiency with Python, FastAPI, LangChain, TypeScript, and React.
- Hands-on experience building LLM agent tools, agentic workflows, MCP integrations, or RAG systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Strong teamwork, written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
