Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases and create automated scripts for enterprise web, API, and service-layer applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test frameworks and test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, usability, load, and performance testing.
  • Develop API test automation for REST and GraphQL services.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and use Git for version control.
  • Write SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
  • Validate application deployments in cloud environments such as AWS.
  • Identify, log, track, troubleshoot, and resolve defects with Application Engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead initiatives to improve automation coverage, QA processes, testing tools, and reporting practices.
  • Manage and report test cases using test management tools while ensuring alignment with healthcare regulatory and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible related experience, or a master's degree plus three years of related experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or Jest for automated testing.
  • Experience developing API automation for REST and GraphQL services using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
  • Experience implementing automated testing in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms, with Git for version control.
  • Experience testing distributed systems in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating on test strategy and quality standards.
  • Experience writing SQL queries for backend validation and conducting performance and load testing with k6, JMeter, or similar tools.
  • Experience validating cloud application deployments, such as in AWS.
  • Experience using Zephyr or similar test management tools and working with healthcare regulatory and data privacy requirements, including PHI systems.
