Responsibilities
- Design and lead Salesforce Data Cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and development plans.
- Define and review data models, schemas, and ingestion pipelines.
- Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with Marketing Cloud Personalization and other MarTech platforms.
- Lead development teams, manage tasks, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects on data strategy and governance.
- Ensure data quality, privacy compliance, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex data and integration issues across platforms.
- Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards and reusable components.
- Support audience creation, segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization workflows.
- Participate in roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, unification, and activation.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially Marketing Cloud Personalization, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio.
- Experience designing and reviewing customer data platform models.
- Experience with Einstein and Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Proficiency with REST and SOAP API integrations and data connectors.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience leading development teams, managing tasks, and ensuring delivery quality.
- Familiarity with identity resolution, consent management, and data governance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science, Data, or IT; graduates from other fields may also be considered with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Preferred certifications include Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Personalization Accredited Professional, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and Salesforce Certified Agent Force Specialist.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, or Commerce Cloud; cloud platforms and big data technologies; DevOps practices and containerization; client-facing technical discussions; and audience segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization strategies.
