Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reusable client-side components and server-side services using Angular, NodeJS, and Java.
- Build high-performance, low-latency, scalable applications for electronic trading.
- Contribute to frontend and backend architecture and system design decisions.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and convert successful initiatives into production-grade solutions.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, performance, testing, and compliance with prescribed development practices.
- Provide post-release assistance and third-line support during core trading hours.
- Work closely with business users, development teams, and support groups in a distributed global environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring or another dependency injection framework.
- At least 3 years of Angular experience building modern responsive web applications.
- At least 3 years of NodeJS experience developing server-side applications, APIs, or build tooling.
- At least 5 years of experience developing and maintaining highly scalable, real-time, low-latency, high-volume services.
- Experience with real-time messaging middleware such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or Tibco.
- Experience with multithreaded applications and strong software development fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, object-oriented programming, architecture, algorithms, and problem solving.
- Experience deploying and debugging applications on UNIX/Linux.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes capital markets and financial derivatives, low-latency Java performance tuning, Oracle or MongoDB, caching technologies, CI/CD pipelines, testing across frontend and backend, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication, analytical, teamwork, adaptability, and business-user-facing skills.

- Primary location salary range of $94,300.00–$141,500.00 per year.
