Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, performant, maintainable software features based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using WebAPI and JSON for distributed systems.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server solutions, including scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and query performance tuning.
- Create responsive user interfaces using AngularJS, Angular, and React.
- Write clean, documented code using SOLID principles, design patterns, and comprehensive automated unit tests.
- Identify and resolve concurrency issues such as blocking and deadlocking scenarios.
- Debug complex issues and refine implementations based on testing feedback and production insights.
- Contribute to technical design documentation and architecture decisions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and production support.
- Collaborate with product owners, subject matter experts, QA engineers, developers, and distributed teams across time zones.
- Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies, reduce technical debt, and improve development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience building enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong expertise in C# and the .NET Framework and .NET Core/5+.
- Experience with AngularJS, Angular, and/or React, with multiple frameworks highly valued.
- Experience developing SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and query optimization.
- Experience designing and developing APIs with ASP.NET WebAPI or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of message-based architectures using Kafka, RedPanda, or similar event-streaming platforms.
- Experience with xUnit, NUnit, or equivalent unit-testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
- Knowledge of MVC/MVVM patterns, enterprise application architecture, object-oriented programming, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, modern web standards, and version control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or BitBucket.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platform technologies, Power BI, Elasticsearch, Playwright, Redis, Microsoft Rules Engine, Docker, Kubernetes, Entity Framework, and performance profiling.
- Healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and independent-working skills.
