Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize transformer-based vision-language models for real-time inference.
- Own the full training pipeline from pre-training on image-text data to fine-tuning for specific use cases.
- Apply model compression techniques like distillation and quantization for efficient deployment.
- Prototype new architectures and training methods to advance multimodal AI research.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models and iterate based on feedback.
- Stay current with AI research and design experiments to enhance core systems.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in CS, EE, or related field with a strong foundation in AI/ML.
- Proficient in Python/C++ and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with CNNs, Transformers, and Vision Transformers.
- Proven skills in model training and optimization, including fine-tuning on large datasets.
- Strong problem-solving ability and quick prototyping skills.
- Startup experience preferred, comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration.
