Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, debug, test, and support software applications through the full software development lifecycle.
- Build applications and APIs using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST, and WCF.
- Develop Azure-native solutions using AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, and JFrog.
- Perform code reviews, translate user stories into engineering artifacts, and deliver application design and coding work.
- Support production systems and continuous improvement through performance tuning, refactoring, optimization, and automation.
- Track and communicate engineering risks, resolve issues, and collaborate with program management, product, business analysis, and quality assurance teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, REST, and WCF.
- At least 6 years of software development experience within the Microsoft .NET stack.
- Demonstrated CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Harness, JFrog, and automation practices.
- Strong Azure experience, including AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with GitHub-based source code change management and Agile software development processes.
- Tertiary education in computer science or engineering, or relevant work experience in place of the degree.
- Strong software engineering practices, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to explain technology to nontechnical audiences.
- Python experience and familiarity with generative AI are desirable.
- Experience in regulated financial services, specifically insurance, is desirable.
