Responsibilities
- Monitor hardware fleet performance metrics to identify collar and tower issues.
- Investigate technical support tickets and lead incident resolution from triage through root cause and escalation.
- Coordinate with customer, Deployment, Product, Field Engineering, and Software teams on technical issues and follow-ups.
- Maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases for known hardware issues.
- Build internal tools, dashboards, alerting systems, automations, and workflows for fleet monitoring and incident response.
- Improve triage, escalation, investigation, data quality, and issue-detection processes to reduce time to resolution.
- Visit customer farms when useful to support hardware issue resolution alongside field teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in technical operations, support engineering, or a similar role.
- A computer science, software engineering, mechatronics, or similar background is useful but not required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, prioritization, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience working with systems and data, including dashboards, tools, workflows, logs, and APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to build relied-upon tools or automations and design scalable workflows.
- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences and operate effectively in changing environments.
- Frontend experience with modern frameworks and strong UX intuition, or backend experience with scalable APIs, distributed systems, event-driven services, and databases, is relevant.
- Node.js, Kotlin, Go, or experience integrating systems with hardware or IoT is a bonus.
