Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize high-volume mainframe business logic.
- Monitor architecture, identify inefficiencies, and improve mainframe performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions in mission-critical applications.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
- Refactor legacy code to enable cloud and mobile applications to interact with mainframe data.
- Develop scalable and robust software using modern engineering practices.
Requirements
- Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Strong coding and development experience with Java, Python, React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML, JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, containers, messaging queues, and object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred certification in one or more hyperscalers, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
